Cookie Policy
Last updated: 5 November 2026
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies Miyav (miyav.site) uses and why. In short: we use only the cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to work. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Contents
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the website remember information between pages, for example that you are logged in.
2. Cookies we use
We use only these two first-party cookies, set by miyav.site itself:
- miyav_session — keeps you logged in and remembers your session while you use the site. Duration: deleted when you close the browser or after 2 hours of inactivity. Type: strictly necessary, first-party.
- XSRF-TOKEN — protects forms and your account against cross-site request forgery attacks. Duration: the same as the session cookie. Type: strictly necessary, first-party, security.
3. Why there is no cookie banner
Under EU rules (Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive) and similar laws, cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested do not require consent. Because we use only such cookies, we do not show a consent banner.
If we ever add cookies that are not strictly necessary, such as analytics cookies, we will ask for your consent before setting them and update this policy.
4. What we do not use
- No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
- No third-party cookies and no tracking pixels.
- No external font services: our fonts are hosted on our own servers, so your browser does not contact Google or other font providers.
- No use of browser local storage for tracking.
5. How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies above, you will not be able to log in or submit forms on miyav.site, because they are needed for these functions.
6. Changes and contact
If we change the cookies we use, we will update this policy and the date at the top. Questions? Contact Miyav at privacy@miyav.site. More about how we handle personal data is in our Privacy Policy.
